I read eeeguides that you can feed the eeepc with a solar panel, even if seeing the specifications of the solar cell (you can find on ebay for a few euros) 5W in full sun, it is unthinkable to feed it while it is running, probably the can be used to charge the battery when not in use, thus extending the total duration.

This post will be the first in a long series (I hope) on alternative energy, at a time where you start to feel a very heavy dependence on oil and worrying.
Our lifestyle is linked with a double thread to oil: we move, we generate electricity and heating thanks to him, everything that requires energy can work with the exploitation of this resource.
But oil will end sooner or later, and then we must have NOW a viable alternative, to move slowly toward the production of a new energy source, possibly renewable.
