Often with a touch of envy, I confess, I watch people with a Windows PC starts to do things that Linux often can not be done because the hardware is not always properly supported. Sure, the network has always been a hand, but sometimes it annoys ![]()
I read about www.eeepc.it an easy way to turn the screen on a EeePC with Windows operating system. In short, by the usual driver etc. etc..
I read and I am a bit 'banned! So for Win and the Penguin is not it?
I am heartened by the last two lines:
"For Linux users: You can rotate the screen right through the command:
xrandr-o right that also accepts (as well as right) normal, inverted and left "
I try and surprise I see my screen to rotate.
I noticed that many people like me did not know this command and the wonder of seeing a Eeepc used in eBook style was really great.
Obviously the command xrandr is much more powerful to run the screen, this command can be used to configure dual monitors, and more!
Here's a bit 'image of a eeeBook:

Unfortunately I fear that with the original operating system can not be used.
Sorry, but Xandros lasted less than 30 seconds before being replaced totally!
