Finally, after a couple of ups and downs , I can write my impressions on this new release that aside from the annoying bugs, but the second, the failure of the function key that controls the wifi, I am totally satisfied!
My eeepc is significantly faster in both boot times but above all as the final reaction! And the space on the disk that was definitely not on a eeepc is not a minor problem, having a total of 4GB of disk!
As I left only the final installation the following programs:
Firefox
Pidgin
skype
all openoffice 3.0
Fspot
Image viewer
Vlc
And all the various tools, etc. handle the volume. and so on. by default.
Here are a couple of numerical information:
Boot time -> 35 seconds (including time of the automatic login)
Start Time of the Writer -> 6 seconds!
Time to start Firefox -> 3 seconds!
Time of start of Skype -> 4 seconds! (Login excluded of course)
1.8 G disk space occupied
This data I have obtained without changing the processor clock.
If you want other performance data does not hesitate to ask!
