I read about eeeguides that you can feed the eeepc with a solar panel, even if seeing the specifications of the solar cell (you can find on ebay for a few euros) 5W in full sunlight, it is unthinkable to sustain it while it is running, probably the can be used to charge the battery when not in use, thus extending the total duration.
I while ago I bought two of these solar cells, are curious about using both cells how everything works.
