Satellite navigation with Linux

A lack I find using Linux is the lack of commercial software as there are at Microsoft, even if they are willing to pay, often not found anything. If we look at the field of GPS navigation, this gap becomes really unbearable.

Sure, many say, there ' Navitar that seems beautiful is open, is also free! But just that I think is his weak point, being free is forced to use maps do not buy, following the project OpenStreetMaps then or are not updated or missing at all! Just look at Italy to realize what the project, although beautiful, is a little 'back.
Now change the cards on the table and perhaps to make "justice" thinks SYGIC GPS offers a navigation software, that's incredible, also runs under Linux !
For now you can register to become a beta tester.
We hope that the project is successful!

Sara 'linux well but have never released a version that turns us on ...
And the real problem, not the software but the maps. Where those maps then not release anything for Linux, it becomes difficult to have a serious product.
