Maybe I arrive late and this information is already public knowledge ... But I do not think everyone knows that you can see the RAI channels via a "simple" as a player VLC .
Here is a simple guide on how to configure VLC to allow proper visulalizzazione TV:
1. Avviare VLC;
2. Recarsi nel menu Strumenti > Preferenze;
3. Mettere il segno di spunto accanto alla voce Tutto (collocata nella parte bassa a sinistra della finestra);
4. Recarsi in Ingresso/Codificatori >Moduli di accesso > HTTP(S), tramite l'elenco collocato nella parte sinistra della finestra;
5. Sostituire il valore presente nel campo User agent http con Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009020911 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.6;
6. Cliccare sul pulsante Salva.
At this point, you just need to open normally with VLC these links for the various channels streaming rays (Media menu> Options Open Advanced> Network):
