Optimize Firefox sull'EeePc

firefox Optimize any program to get the most out of small screen dell'eeepc is a must, otherwise the anger of your eyes will strain to understand what they are watching!
It is not difficult, indeed, now almost all distributions are optimized for netbooks and then there is little left to do, only real optimizations to get the most extreme.
Because I want to be comfortable, optimization for Firefox I do not, but an extension, that once installed make it as compact as possible!

Raon Everun Note: Dual Core UMD

everun-note Always in search of a "small but powerful" Today I stumbled upon this product: Raon Everun Note , Netbook screen 7 inches and an AMD dual core.
A comparison of ' UMID M1 , the Raon Everun Note is slightly larger and much heavier, but I think we are close to "perfect product" (of course for me) because it has the features you've always wanted from my EeePC 701:
7-inch screen, more processing power, a 'good connectivity with devices (usb, sd, external display) a good time.

UMID: When small is better!

umid8 I am a happy owner of an EeePC 701, the first netbook to 7 "for instance. The only criticism that I ever did was the size, if that is too small for many, I find it slightly too big and I was hoping so much in a more compact version.

Eeepc and solar panels: the total autonomy?

I read eeeguides that you can feed the eeepc with a solar panel, even if seeing the specifications of the solar cell (you can find on ebay for a few euros) 5W in full sun, it is unthinkable to feed it while it is running, probably the can be used to charge the battery when not in use, thus extending the total duration.

Eee PC, Mandriva 2009.0 and WIFI

One of the problems I faced since I installed the latest version of Mandriva on my EeePC 701 is related to the problem of the FN + F2 function key for turning on the wifi.
Once off the wifi, there was no way to be able to reactivate if not a reboot, uncomfortable and impractical.

SuperTuxKart: another game for linux and EeePC

Overcome by curiosity to try other games on eeepc, I downloaded and installed SuperTuxKart famous game that hints at Mario Kart , basically a nice game of cars where the aim is obviously to get the first (obvious?), but with the ' incentive to "break the boxes" for bonuses to be used during the race: missiles to knock down opponents and the like.

Eeepc, Linux and games

Put these three words in the same sentence, without any denial is heresy to many.
We know that talking about games and Linux, well leave things as they are, the games of course but there are very few and are often relegated to a niche of pure entertainment for five minutes.
Talk about eeepc, well many people still think that we are facing a "Clementoni" a little 'overgrown, but certainly not worth anything.
